The Governor of WI: Remove Mitragynine & 7-hydroxymitragynine from Wisconsin's AB406! Keep Kratom legal!

man-in-the-tardis:

Kratom has a ton of uses. Not only to battle chronic pain (severe, in most cases) it also has been known to treat anxiety, depression, social anxiety disorder and is being used by people worldwide to kick hard drugs without the use of pharmaceuticals that they don’t trust  and can be just as addictive as the drugs they were trying to stop in the first place. Kratom is an all natural substance with no synthetic additives and reports of this being a hallucinogenic drug is an outrageous claim and an outright lie, spread to install fear in people who don’t know what this particular herb can actually do. And who most promotes the ban on Kratom? Pharmaceuticals. Because with this cheaper, safer alternative, they will lose money. They will say anything they can to make people fear and shun something that is saving the lives of so many people. People are saying ban it until research is done. That is counter productive. Kids who try to use it to get a legal high, ending up in the hospital with nothing more than vomiting and nausea are scaring parents and having them vote against it without knowing what it is. Do I think it should be restricted to people over the age of 18? Yes. Because of the potency, kids have no tolerance for stuff like this and it can make them sick. Will it kill them? Absolutely not. If taken responsibly and with the knowledge given to them by reputable vendors, (Not head shops), one can safely and easily take Kratom without the feeling of withdraw or addiction. What works for me doesn’t necessarily work for you. Instead of banning, how about reliable information. Not some scare tactic used by people who’s never touched it, but information given to safe users of Kratom, who’s used the product to help with their various ailments.

Please sign this petition and any petition that comes up about this subject. Kratom has changed my life and I know it can do the same for you if people just give it a chance. It’s already been banned in vermont, Indiana and Tennesee by people who don’t understand it. Stop the fear. Become knowledgeable. Maybe this can help you too
